Extra Credit assignment

By the end of this class, you should have a fundamental understanding of how GPUs work and the field of GPU computing as a whole. A great resource to keep up to date with the latest development in GPUs is the Nvidia Developers Blog.

For this extra credit assignment, the goal is for you to read and summarize a blog post of your interest.

To submit this assignment, create a private post in Piazza with the extracredit tag and the following information:

• Feature / Software discussed:
• What is the “pain point” (or problem) that this feature / software solves?
• How does this new feature / software solve the problem?
• What are the potential impact and implications that this new feature / software will have in the GPU computing space? (For example, will something be safer? more energy efficient? easier to program? impact a new field?)
